Compliance Deadline: April 30, 2024. Non-compliance may result in penalties, suspension of new customer onboarding, or debartment from UPI services.

For Online Merchants (via UPI Acquirers):

  1. Prominent Display: Clearly showcase “Pay by any UPI App” and list all active UPI apps available on the device.
  2. Methodology Shift: Opt for intent-based or other web-based methods instead of the traditional “Collect” approach.
